I’m an early-career analyst and political economist working across technology governance, EU digital regulation, and sustainability policy. What I keep coming back to is translation: turning complex regulatory and political-economic questions into structured, usable insight — the frameworks and analysis that help people and organisations make sense of rules that keep shifting under them.
I hold a double bachelor’s from the University of Amsterdam (in Political Science and in Media & Information), complemented by a minor in Economic Analysis of Public Policy at the Bert W. Wasserman Department of Economics and Finance, Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College (City University of New York), and a master’s in Political Economy back in Amsterdam. The mix is deliberate: it lets me look at governance through several lenses at once, public policy, AI and data governance, computational and qualitative research methods, and international regulatory systems.

I worked with the Leadership & Policy team on corporate sustainability and responsible business conduct, contributing research toward high-level outputs including the 2025 CEO Study, and supporting stakeholder engagement during UN General Assembly High-Level Week.

I coordinated communications across departments and worked alongside diplomats, parliamentarians, and policy actors shaping the European policy environment, and helped launch the institute’s podcast.

I built an original analytical framework and coding taxonomy to compare EU regulatory instruments (GDPR, CSRD, CSDDD, the EU Deforestation Regulation) across jurisdictions, using both qualitative and computational methods.

I ran live operational workflow and KPI monitoring for the Italian market on a high-volume delivery platform, triaging incidents against service targets under time pressure.
I was born and raised in Genoa, Italy, to Moroccan parents. Growing up between cultures and languages shaped much of my interest in governance, regulation, and how institutions can be engines of mobility and trust. I work across Italian and French (native), English (C2), German (C1, Goethe-certified), Dutch and Spanish (B2), and some Arabic.
