I’m an early-career analyst and political economist working at the intersection of technology governance, EU digital regulation, and sustainability policy. Most of my work comes back to one thing I keep being drawn to: translating complex regulatory and political-economic questions into structured, usable insight, the kind of frameworks and analysis that help people and organisations actually navigate an increasingly regulated landscape.

I hold a double bachelor’s from the University of Amsterdam (in Political Science and in Media & Information), complemented by a minor in Economic Analysis of Public Policy at the Bert W. Wasserman Department of Economics and Finance, Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College (City University of New York), and a master’s in Political Economy back in Amsterdam. The mix is deliberate: it lets me look at governance through several lenses at once, public policy, AI and data governance, computational and qualitative research methods, and international regulatory systems.

Political Economy MSc graduate working where EU regulation meets commercial and institutional decision-making. Four years of applied regulatory analysis across the AI Act, DSA, GDPR, CSRD, CSDDD and EUDR, built at the UN Global Compact in New York, Egmont in Brussels and the UvA Responsible Business Conduct Lab, alongside eighteen months of direct client ownership in a B2B financial-operations role. Ribat — Geopolitical Risk Exposure Map (2026)

An interactive map I built to show how much geopolitical risk each country actually bears through its trade, rather than where the risk is emitted. It combines the Caldara–Iacoviello GPR index with WITS/Comtrade trade weights across four channels (all trade, energy, critical materials, and shipping chokepoints), so you can see who is most exposed and toggle between channels to understand why.
